K2 alternate a big summer expedition in even years and 4 big camps in odd years. The 4 big camps are weekend camps that are special in some way, whether it's because they're large scale camps attended by other Explorers, or because they're special camps just for K2. 2009's big 4 are listed below.

K2 went to SunRun in 2007 and Gilwell24 in 2008 and the Explorers were asked which they preferred - they said Gilwell 24 was better, so we'll be back there in 2009 for 24 hours of non-stop activities. July 10-12

AWESOME is the All Wales Explorer Scout Camp which takes place every 2 years. We went in 2007 and really enjoyed it, and 2009's event promises to be even bigger and better! September 11-13

This one is going to planned by the Explorers. Where you go and what you do is completely up to you, and we'll be wanting you to plan the camp yourselves. Of course we'll give you all the help you need to make sure it's a cracking weekend. Date to be announced
