Join K2 ESU as an adult

We really enjoy working with what is, in our opinion, the best age range of young people - teenagers. They're sometimes challenging, but when you've taught them how to look after themselves on an expedition, or take on them on a new activity they've not tried before, and see how much they enjoy it and get out of it - it's worth every minute of the time you volunteer.

There are loads of ways in which you can help, and you can give as much or as little of your time as you want. Don't worry about making a big commitment either - if, after helping for a while, you just can't give the time anymore, you can just walk away. Or if you can just help once in a while, that's fine too, just come along when you can.

So, what would you be doing as a member of the K2 Leadership team? There are two main ways you could help...

First is as a general Leader who helps to plan and run the normal programme. This role requires no special skills, just the ability to get on with 14 to 18 year olds and enjoy working as a part of a team.

Secondly you can help as Activity Instructor. If you're into kayaking, hillwalking, rock climbing, mountain biking... the list goes on - we'd love it if you'd be willing to join us and pass on your enthusiasm to our Explorer Scouts.
