Your Voice
It's important that the views of Explorer Scouts are listened to, that they are aware of issues that effect them, and that they have a say in the running of Explorer Scouting at every level. K2 has a Unit Forum, and there are also Forums at Wrexham, Clwyd and Wales levels.
K2 Unit Forum
K2 ESU has a Unit Forum elected from its members. The Forum is made up of a Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Recruitment Officer and Awards Officer. As well as their specific duties, the Forum meet once a month with the Explorer Scout Leader to look after the running of the Unit. Minutes of these meetings are published here.
Minutes
The Unit occasionally meets as a whole in brief informal meetings held at the request of the Explorer Scout Leader or Unit Chairman or any other Unit member. They are there to discuss any issue which needs the input from everyone in the Unit, such as electing members onto the Forum etc.

Wrexham District has an Explorer Scout Forum which representatives from each Unit are invited to - Click here for details
2 representatives from every Unit in Clwyd are invited to the Clwyd Area Explorer Scout Forum which meets twice a year. The meeting involves both Explorer Scouts and adults - Click here for details
At Wales level there are two bodies: the Wales Explorer Scout Forum, for 2 Explorer Scouts per each Area, and the Wales Explorer Scout Team, for one adult rep from each Area. Again this meets twice a year - Click here for details
